Canterbury on Friday

Today we visited the city of Canterbury with its famous cathedral.  The Cathedral and Metropolitical Church of Christ at Canterbury, which is its formal title, is the cathedral of the Archbishop of Canterbury.  This cathedral, which once was a Roman Catholic temple, was the scene of the murder of Thoma Beckett, who was its archbishop in 1170 when he was killed. The first temple built on this site dates back to 597 A.D.

Have a look at the pictures we took today.

And here are four videos we took during our visit to Canterbury.  The first was taken as we arrived at the cathedral; the next two are inside the temple; the fourth we took while having a pic-nic lunch in the cathedral gardens.

In this video Pablo starts by telling us that the cathedral scares him:   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U5BOPuQSuNk&feature=youtu.be   He got over it eventually.
