Today was an outstanding day in many ways. Firstly, we had gorgeous weather, which helped us enjoy our visit even more. We had good tour guides, as two of our staff from Bedgebury actually live in Cambridge; and everyone's excitement greatly contributed to making this an even more enjoyable experience.
We also met up with Chris Rigge, who worked as an assistant in our English Department for a year. He kept us company for most of our visit and added his comments and insight regarding his hometown. You will see him in some of the photographs. As promised, he brought us some of the famous Rigge family shortbread which was very much appreciated by all and devoured with gusto.
Below are some photographs of our visit to the city which owes its name to a bridge originally called "The great bridge over the river Cam". As it was too long a name, it was gradually shortened to Cam Bridge, and then to Cambridge.

In the evening, the children participated in an event called "Chill out", which is parlour games, or a movie, or getting your fingernails done, and getting a facial. And of course some of the boys fell victim to the girls' creativity. It's a classic. Here is some photographic evidence:
